Canada Immigration Group is a division of Winnipeg Attorneys Carroll Fisher Belding, a full service law firm which offers a broad range of legal services including real estate (commercial & residential), Wills/estates, litigation, family law, corporate/commercial, alternative dispute resolution and more. Honesty and Integrity
Canadian lawyers not only must meet the high standards and education (generally 7–9 years of post secondary education and training) required to practice law, but are also accountable for all their actions by provincial law societies in Canada.
There are extensive rules of professional conduct imposed on lawyers covering a broad range of issues. Any time a lawyer is reported to the Law Society for practices that are not within the guidelines of those regulations, they are subject to disciplinary action.
Depending upon findings and nature of breach of rules of conduct, a lawyer’s license may be temporarily suspended or permanently removed. Lawyers must also maintain comprehensive professional liability insurance.
No one can claim they have special ties with the Canadian government including Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC).
Full Disclosure and Transparency of the Immigration Process
A letter of engagement or retainer agreement is entered into between our immigration lawyers and the applicant if they choose to retain our services. This is a detailed written contract that outlines the duties, responsibilities and the fees to be charged by the lawyers at Carroll Fisher Belding, the Canadian law firm behind Canada Immigration Group.
All applicants will be thoroughly educated on the immigration process, including time frames, what government documents need to be completed, and assisted with the preparation of a business plan, school enrollment, or other additional requirements, where applicable. We want applicants to feel completely confident in our services and knowledgeable about the process that they will be undergoing.
As experienced and reputable lawyers we only encourage clients to proceed with meritorious applications.
Experience and understanding
Immigration Law in Canada is very complicated, varies from province to province and is constantly under review and subject to change.
Making Canada your new home is a life-altering decision. The process takes time and commitment on behalf of the immigrant and their family and should receive the same level of diligence on the part of the lawyer.

Fees
When you retain our services, you are contracting for our time, effort, experience and breadth of professional expertise. Our general policy is to charge a flat rate for our immigration legal services. In exceptional cases we work on the basis of an hourly rate. In accordance with Canadian and provincial laws, we never charge fees to jobCan applicants.
